Mrs. Hogan was
born in New Bern, NC, in 1980 and moved to Greenville, NC,
in 1986. She attended school from kindergarten through
twelfth grade at Arendell Parrott Academy in Kinston, NC.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from
the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. Prior
to attending law school, Mrs. Hogan moved to Raleigh where
she served as a fundraiser for Erskine Bowles’ United States
Senate campaign. While in law school, Mrs. Hogan interned
for the Honorable Justice George Wainwright at the North
Carolina Supreme Court and clerked for Yates, McLamb, &
Weyher. Upon successful completion of the North Carolina
Bar, Mrs. Hogan joined Yates, McLamb & Weyher in the fall of
2008. She practices in the area of medical malpractice
defense litigation.
While in law
school, Mrs. Hogan received the book award, given to the
student who achieves the highest grade in a particular
class, for Pretrial Litigation. Additionally, she was
selected by her professors to represent Campbell as a member of the
Susie Sharp Inn of Court in Raleigh.
Mrs. Hogan and
her husband, Joe, enjoy traveling, reading, playing tennis,
visiting with friends and family, and Carolina sports.
