Mr. Younger was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina.  He graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics.  After college Mr. Younger received his J.D. with honors from the North Carolina School of Law.  While in law school Mr. Younger was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Bench and served as a member of the Invitational Team and the Executive Committee.  He also was named to the national Order of the Barristers upon graduation.  After law school, Mr. Younger worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Martha A. Geer at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.  Mr. Younger also worked in the chambers of the Honorable John C. Martin at the Court of Appeals.

After completing his clerkship, Mr. Younger joined Yates, McLamb & Weyher in 2005.  Mr. Younger's practice has focused upon the representation clients in medical and legal liability cases.  Particularly, Mr. Younger has worked with healthcare providers in the fields of emergency medicine, nursing care, general surgery, pediatrics, and urology.  In addition to medical matters, Mr. Younger also has represented  various clients in cases involving  legal malpractice, violations of constitutional rights, unfair and deceptive trade practices, insurance coverage issues, and other general negligence allegations.  Mr. Younger  is also a member of the firm's appellate practice, and he has significant experience drafting briefs and other filings to the  Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court and  the North Carolina Court of Appeals. 

Outside of the office, Mr. Younger enjoys golf, traveling, college basketball, and spending time with family and friends.  He and his wife, Ramsay,  and their son live in Raleigh.
