Sean T. Partrick is a partner in the firm.  He was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina.  He attended Georgetown University as an undergraduate and obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Distinction.  He later attended law school at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where he was a member and an editor of the Campbell Law Review.  Sean also served in the United States Navy as a cryptologist.

After law school, Mr. Partrick practiced insurance defense work for five years with the firm of Barber and Wilson, PA in Greenville, North Carolina.  In 2003, he came to work for Yates, McLamb & Weyher, L.L.P.  His practice still focuses on insurance defense work, including construction defect litigation, personal injury defense, employment law, automobile liability and coverage, and a range of other areas.  He has been involved in both federal court and state court matters.  He has tried both state superior court and district court matters.  In addition to be admitted to practice law in North Carolina State Courts, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts.  He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.

Mr. Partrick and his wife Kim, live in Clayton, North Carolina, with their three children.  They spend time together traveling, cheering on their favorite ACC sports teams, playing in various little league sports, and playing a little golf when they can.
