Jennifer (“Jennie") Dotson Maldonado was born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1972. Ms. Maldonado received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994 and her law degree from Campbell University in 1998, where she was a member of the Prince Evidence Moot Court Team. Ms. Maldonado is a partner in the firm.

Since her admission to the bar, Ms. Maldonado’s practice has been concentrated in the defense of personal injury and commercial matters, construction and coverage litigation. She is an experienced litigator, having tried cases in both federal and state court. Additionally, Ms. Maldonado has taught seminars in insurance coverage litigation, insurance bad faith claims in North Carolina, litigation case management, medical records translation, settlement strategy, success at mediation and accident investigation. Currently, Ms. Maldonado serves as a member of the Minorities in the Profession Committee and State Bar Diversity Task Force.

Ms. Maldonado, her husband Dave, and their daughter Maile, enjoy traveling, visiting area parks and museums, gardening, and ACC sports. Ms. Maldonado is a partner in the firm.
