Ms. Crosby
was born in Greensboro, NC in 1979. She received her Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from North Carolina Agricultural and
Technical State University. While in nursing school she was
inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
After graduation she moved to Durham, NC and began her career as
a registered nurse at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC, practicing in the
telemetry and cardiac intermediate care unit. She returned to
law school at North Carolina Central University. After
completing her first year, she served as a summer intern for the
Guardian ad Litem program in High Point, NC. She also returned
to nursing, practicing in the Heart Center at UNC Hospitals in
Chapel Hill.
Ms. Crosby clerked for Yates, McLamb, and Weyher
while in law school. Upon successful completion of the North
Carolina Bar, she joined the firm in the fall of 2006. She
practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense litigation
and maintains an active license as a registered nurse.
