Appellate Practice

appeals before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North
Carolina Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals
for the Fourth Circuit. The firm is retained on a regular basis

Construction Liability
The defense of general contractors and subcontractors statewide in construction defect claims and workplace accidents is a significant area of the firm’s practice. Construction defect cases include residential and large, multimillion-dollar commercial projects
as well as roadway construction. In addition to construction defect litigation, an important part of the firm’s practice is defending contractors in catastrophic personal-injury and wrongful-death claims arising from construction operations. Coverage Litigation

Nursing Home Liability
