Sean Partrick was born in Washington, D.C. in 1963 and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina.  After an enlistment in the United States Navy as a cryptologist and linguist, he earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He worked in computers/networking before he entered law school.  While in law school, he was a member of the Campbell Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Partrick practiced in the area of insurance defense in Greenville, North Carolina for over five years before returning to Raleigh with his wife and three children. He currently practices in the area of insurance defense with some emphasis in construction litigation.
