Susan Fountain
is a native of Fayetteville, N.C. She is a 1994 graduate of
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she
received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, in
political science with a minor in history. She received her
J.D. from the UNC School of Law in 1997. Upon graduation,
she clerked for Chief Judge Gerald Arnold at the North
Carolina Court of Appeals.
Since joining
Yates, McLamb & Weyher, L.L.P., Ms. Fountain has practiced
in the areas of general liability, as well as professional
liability and coverage issues.
She is a member
of the NC State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the
Wake County Bar Association and the Defense Research
Institute. Her bar activities have included serving as a
past chair of the North Carolina Bar Association Young
Lawyer’s Division Citizenship Education Committee.
Ms. Fountain
enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters,
the beach, travel, tennis and golf.
